ABOUT ME

Our animals, like us, are eternal beings. They have souls, life contracts, desires, and intentions. Some animals have incarnated on Earth many times, and some are on their first lifetime here–or are on their first lifetime as an animal. 

My cat Jo is the first animal I spoke with telepathically, starting when I sent a psychic message out into my neighborhood. I wanted a cat but didn’t want to have one live inside the house, so I stepped onto my porch one day and, completely on impulse, said in my mind, “Hey feral cats of the neighborhood. I’m looking for a yard kitty. I will feed you and make you a shelter on my porch to live in. If you have kittens you can bring with you, that’s even better.”

I’d never done this before, but for some reason I felt that if I were heartfelt enough, it would work. The kittens part was born of a desire to 1) cuddle some kittens, and 2) help some of the local ferals find homes. 

A couple weeks after that, I was doing dishes when I looked out the kitchen window and–what do you know–a small tortie was laying in my yard, four tiny kittens playing around her. It took a while to win the mom over, but we found her kittens homes and she gradually became comfortable with being touched and sitting near us. 

This was Jo.

A couple years later I sent another request out to the universe, this time to talk with animals. It was another desire that felt like it came out of nowhere, but after having a pet psychic talk with my dogs, I was enamored with the idea. 

Soon after, Jo was sitting on my lap and I realized that I could feel her energy field extending out beyond her physical body. At first, I wasn’t even sure what this was; although I knew about auras, it had never occurred to me that I could actually feel another creature’s field. 

I decided to test out communicating with animals one on one, rather than sending out a general psychic message like when I pinged all the neighborhood cats. So I asked Jo a question… she answered… and we were off, having a full conversation.  

Since starting with Jo—and learning from her, too, I like to think—I’ve spoken with animals both in the physical and those who have crossed to the other side. All who were pets still very much love their humans and often visit them here on Earth. Like Jo, they have their own amazing stories to tell and have much to teach us.
